Alignment Doesn't matter

Proper alignment is a man-made concept, as we made laws to drive the cars, similarly, we are trying to make laws to make human move perfectly.

Human race went through millions of years of evolution and we successfully evolved because we were able to adapt to a hostile environment to fight with predators to run on the imperfect terrain. If we would be looking for perfect conditions, cool winds, comfortable beds, optimal surroundings, we would have been doomed like dinosaurs.

There is no improper alignment, there is improper preparation.

Dinosaurs were big, strong and powerful but they were not as adaptive as human beings, so they were perished by nature. On the other hand, humans are way more fragile, weak and small yet adaptive to change... Adaptive to go out of our comfort and obviously out of alignment... That's why we are still alive.

Clearly, we are not on this earth to be safe, safety is an illusion like alignment and alignment is a false sense of safety. Both take away our freedom. Freedom to move and the freedom to live. We elude ourselves with this false sense of safety through aligned physical training but life hit us when we are out of alignment.

So how does training with imperfect alignment helps?

Alignment and corrective exercises are big words these days in the fitness industry. Some times you can see they are taking over the real training and becoming the main tool in the tool box of some nerds who hardly train out of their textbooks.

Fitness people are the worst mover on the planet for the time they invest in training.

I know this post gonna piss many of you off but enough is enough.

I understand the value of posture and alignment while you are training under heavy loads but when you walk in real life, you are bound to go out of alignment. In place of thinking in terms of alignment and misalignment, we must train especially those ranges where an injury occurs easily like ankles, knees, shoulders and lower back. To protect them we must train them gradually into the ranges where injuries happen mostly.

In the video below you may find some options how I train myself against the normal notion of training. I will be sharing step by step process too for different joints in future but till then don't worry round your back and pick up your fallen pen from the floor .
